NewBalance Instawalk with HipeBeast

On a winter's day the sun decided to come out and play with temperatures topping at a cool 19°C, what better way to work off that Sunday afternoon lunch than a walk with a bunch of  talented photographers for the New Balance Instawalk.

Don't know what an Instawalk is? Well it is basically a walk where photographers gather to take pics to later post up on Instagram and that's pretty much what it is.

Don't know what Instagram is? Then where have you been living all this time?

Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Flickr.

So enough of the Social Media lesson and back to the topic at hand. On Sunday 26 July, we took to streets of Woodstock, along with some of Cape Town’s best street photographers, capturing and snapping up some of the local graffiti art. This was all arranged by New Balance in association with street photographer @HipeBeast. The aim of the day was to explore the streets in search of the best graffiti to blend with New Balance awesome new range of shoes, GraffitiRemix.
