Kayembe has appeared in Ludacris' Pimpin All Over The World music video, she was a finalist in the International Supermodel 2005 competition in China and is included as a Global Honey on SKY TV in the UK.
She was the featured guest in an episode of the Nicky Greenwall interview show The Close Up , in 2013 & has been the cover of Cosmopolitan amongst other glossys.
Joëlle is more recently known for her role in Zulu which stars Orlando Bloom. Since the release of the movie she has committed to a number of projects and big shot campaigns. She's recently been made the face of international brand Sissy Boy for their Winter 2015 campaign. When looking for a brand ambassador Sissy Boy looked for someone who exudes confidence, inner and outer beauty and of course someone who has major sex appeal. “Joëlle was a natural choice,” says Alex Ressel, Marketing Coordinator for Sissy Boy. “We are very excited to have her on board.”
Another exciting venture for the model and actress is her recent involvement with the latest KISUA campaign. KISUA is a unique African fashion brand that creates exclusive capsule collections in collaboration with African designers. With all these successes she is sure to have many more exciting projects on the horizon and all we can say is, "You Go Girl!"
