For those of you who do not know as yet I recently won the 4th instalment of the Samsung Blogger challenge and it was just the sort of news I was hoping for to set the tone of the festive holidays which has just past. Not only do I win the Samsung Galxy K Zoom and Level over Headphones but now I also go into the final round of the competition and go head to head with previous winners for the grand prize. As always I will keep you all posted.

Once in a lifetime you get to experience something life changing. Some are more fortunate than others, to get experience more in their lifetime than other normal folk would. For me being chosen to compete for a chance to win awesome Samsung gear was my once in a lifetime moment.

Blogging has and will remain a  passion of mine, however just weeks prior to being selected I was beginning to question whether it was in fact worth it. It is simply incredible the way the world works, one minute I'm doubting myself, the next I'm part of something amazing as the Samsung Blogger Challenge.

So this past week I have been posting random posts but all related to my experience in the challenge thus far, highlighting a few key terms to describe it all and today in this post they all came together. So the same can be said for all the Bloggers chosen in this challenge. We all have contrasting styles and niches yet we all came together to compete against one another.

As for the products, which I had the privilege to work with, all that I can say is that it is simply terrific!

The Galaxy K Zoom is a super smartphone with an awesome camera, the best I have ever seen on a smartphone. I absolutely loved the picture quality and the 10x zoom is just terrific.

The Level Over headphones packs such a punch it blows my mind every time I get to wear them. My personal favourite features are the Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancelling and the Touch Panel.

I have had such a fantastic time participating in this Samsung Blogger Challenge that no words in post can describe how great it has been.

Waxing and Karaoke should not go hand in hand EVER! However, it does if you about to sing Killer Karaoke style and that is exactly what I had to endure.

I was tasked with singing karaoke with a twist for Mission 2 of the #MissionSamsung blogger challenge. For this mission I was required to sing a song provided by Kleek, a music app designed to stream and listen to your favourite artists with the option to download and listen offline. I needed to sing my selected song from Kleek which was installed on the Galaxy K Zoom and then play it on the Level Over Headphones via Bluetooth. Bearing in mind that once the Level Over's are on your head almost all noise is cancelled out so all I would hear would be the music playing and not my voice. So now you are all up to speed.

Last week I went out to take on challenge 2 at Groun Karaoke and Cocktail Lounge situated in Lansdowne, Cape Town and the owner was more than willing to allow me to use his establishment. With the venue sorted and a few buddies there to watch me embarrass myself, it was time to sing, and sing I did!



If you couldn't make out what was sung, it's a little track entitled Demons by Imagine Dragons and if my rendition is anything to go by then I guess I slayed many a demon on the night.

I have never really owned a good pair of headphones and I should be spanked several times over for not. How could I be going through life for this long and not have the pleasure of listening to my favourite artists and tracks being played in pristine clarity. However all that has changed.

Technology Meets Versatility

I recently received Samsung's offering in high-end fashion audio head wear in the form of the Level Over headphones as part of the #MissionSamsung blogger challenge. 3 weeks into the challenge and I'm still amazed at the level of quality sound it produces. My ears get an orgasm every time I put it on, they get so excited when I pick them up, they cannot wait for it to kiss their lubes.


The only buttons you’ll find on the Level Over are for power and Bluetooth/noise cancelling but it does come with Smart Touch Controls which allow you to skip tracks, adjust the volume and answer calls. This feature works with simple finger gestures on the Touch Panel integrated into the side of the earpiece. Other awesome features which can be found on the Level Over are:

• Touch/swipe controls for volume track skipping and call answering (which I mentioned)
• ANC - active noise cancelling (not the ruling party of South Africa)
• Bluetooth Audio 
• Cable Audio

Might I add that I find the Level Over headphones to be very comfortable on my head, it also gives off a very smooth sound and the battery life is top-notch and not forgetting the impressive wireless range, what more can I add? The only thing left to be said is that the Level Over headphones are definitely a worthy companion for those who commute to work, the office worker or any go getter looking for a good pair of headphones. Here's to hoping I get to keep it!
