My REVIEW of Stuart Taylor's 2015 in REVUE

MY REVIEW REVUE (WHATEVER!)

When I first saw the posters for Stuart Taylor’s 2015 in Revue my immediate thought was “cant these people spell properly at least?” So anyways, I went to the 2015 in Revue show and about ten minutes into the show a light turns on and I was like “ooooh! Revue!”

The show was highly entertaining. The comedians took the audience on a journey through 2015 and touched on some serious issues in our country and the world; but somehow they could still find humour in it (guess that’s why they do what they do).

Stuart Taylor set the mood and cracked us up with his punch lines. Oscar Petersen... uhm… well he’s sort of like that drunk friend in the club you sit and watch whole night because he is so entertaining.

But MEL! Whoo! Mel kept Stuart and Oscar in their place. She was absolutely amazing!

Well done to the comedians and all the other people (you know, the ones not on stage) for an entertaining evening!

Some info about the show:
This festive season, comedian Stuart Taylor teams up with the hilariously funny Mel Jones and Oscar Petersen to bring you the hottest comedy offering this holiday!

Local audiences can expect a triple dose of laughter as this threesome tackles 2015 in the funniest way possible. A review of the year that was: from the highlights and the lowlights, to the lack of lights, to politicians who made headlines and Zuma’s counting skills, there are no sacred cows in this show.

You definitely won’t want to miss these three class acts on stage as they say goodbye (and for some, good riddance) to 2015 and bid a warm welcome to 2016.

The show is directed by Brent Palmer, with additional material written by local comedians Martin Evans and Yaaseen Barnes.

Ticket Prices range from:
R100-R200
And can be purchased online here.

Ps. I especially enjoyed Mel Jones… Mel Jones you are one funny gal!
