Charlie Sheen to return to 'Two And A Half Men'?

Controversial star could be offered his old sitcom role back

Charlie Sheen could be on the verge of getting his old Two And A Half Men job back. The actor was fired from his hit sitcom this month after his behaviour became increasingly bizarre, amid a public spat with show executive Chuck Lorre.

However, Jeff Rossen of NBC News has now tweeted that the star could be offered his role back by network CBS.

Writing at Twitter.com/jeffrossen he explained: "Sources close to Charlie Sheen tell NBC News, CBS has offered him his job back. Discussions ongoing. Not a done deal."

Any return would be dependent on Sheen resolving his differences with Lorre.

Rosen continued: "Per my sources: CBS is happy to to have Charlie Sheen back on show... if Warner Bros, Chuck Lorre and Sheen can settle differences."

Two And A Half Men was America's top-rated sitcom, making Sheen the highest-paid television actor in the world.
